Chic Compass ushered in the holiday season with warmth, style and heartfelt connection during the launch of Issue 24, “A Time for Giving,” at Via Brasil Steakhouse in Summerlin. The event’s theme — A Time for Giving — set the tone for an evening rooted in gratitude, generosity and celebration of the remarkable individuals featured in the magazine.

One of the night’s highlights was the appearance of cover star Naomi Parisette, who traveled from New York to attend. She arrived in a breathtaking gold ensemble by haute couture designer David Tupaz, captivating the room with her elegance, warmth and unmistakable presence. Together, Parisette and Tupaz brought an infusion of high fashion and artistic flair that complemented the spirit of the launch.

Guests were invited to meet and greet several inspiring personalities featured in the new issue, bringing the magazine’s stories to life through conversations and shared moments. The atmosphere was lively and elegant, buzzing with excitement as contributors, community leaders, advertisers and friends gathered to honor the edition’s message.

Among the distinguished attendees were Laura Taylor, Vera Jackson Moore and Hal Weller, each highlighted in Issue 24. The Jones family was also in attendance, sharing enthusiasm for their upcoming fundraiser and reinforcing the evening’s message of giving back, uplifting community and fostering collective goodwill. Each person featured in the publication has contributed to Southern Nevada in meaningful ways, helping lift the community not only upward but forward.

Adding to the celebration was the strong presence of current Chic Compass advertisers, whose support continues to make the magazine’s mission possible. Their attendance underscored the collaborative network of businesses, creatives, philanthropists and thought leaders who help shape the region’s cultural landscape.

Issue 24 is a vibrant tapestry of stories reflecting the values of the season — generosity, artistry, leadership, resilience and community. The launch event embodied these themes, offering a heartfelt and joyful start to the holidays.

As guests mingled, shared stories and raised a glass to the new edition, one sentiment echoed throughout the room. Per publisher Ann Parenti:

“There is no better way to begin the holiday season than by celebrating one another — and embracing a true Time for Giving.”
