EX UNLV BASKETBALL STAR TAKES THE SHOT OF A LIFETIME ON THE LAS VEGAS STRIP
By Daryl K. Jones
A little over eight years ago, in 2013, plans were unveiled for an entertainment and hospitality Mecca on the Las Vegas Strip. In 2016, ALL NET RESORT & ARENA was projected to cost $1.3 billion and is now at the $4.7 billion mark. Active Capital Holdings recently committed to fund the project and made that announcement on February 22nd, 2022 at The Stirling Club during an event held for the envisioned project. Active Capital Holdings, Executive Trustee AJ Lewis indicates that the deal for the funds could be closed by as soon as next week.
Due to Active Capital Holdings’ commitment, ALL NET RESORT & ARENA owner and visionary Jackie Robinson (former star basketball player for UNLV and the NBA) expects to have construction resume by summer 2022.
Mr. Robinson will be making Nevada history and becoming the first person of color to ever own a hotel property on the Las Vegas Strip. ALL NET RESORT & ARENA will be the greatest of undertakings comprised of a retractable roof arena, not one but two high-end lodging facilities, and a twelve-screen movie theater. With the conceptual design by Cuningham and the arena design by HKS Architecture, ALL NET RESORT & ARENA will be a well-constructed destination point on the Las Vegas Strip. Boasting new entertainment venues, retail shops, and even a convention center, this non-gaming facility will provide an all-out, completely immersive experience for local Las Vegas residents as well as tourists alike.
