Anna Stewart Vian Billings: Transforming Fashion and Philanthropy in Las Vegas
By Laura Henkel
Anna Stewart Billings is a visionary leader in the world of fashion and philanthropy. For nearly two decades, she has served as the general manager of the Anne Fontaine boutique at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, representing the designer’s elegant aesthetic with unmatched zeal and dedication. Over her 18-year tenure, Billings has emerged as not just a representative of high fashion but also a catalyst for connection, community, and empowerment in Las Vegas.
Billings’ journey into the fashion industry began in the late 1980s when her passion for curating remarkable experiences led her to event production. Her skill and charisma caught the attention of Anne Fontaine, who personally selected her to lead the brand’s Las Vegas presence. “It was a moment that changed my life,” Billings said.
Over the years, Billings has transformed her boutique into more than just a retail space — it’s a sanctuary for style and relationships. Women from around the world seek her guidance, drawn to her collaborative and selfless spirit. She is the first to roll up her sleeves and get involved in projects that help others, embodying the core values of generosity and hard work instilled by her mother. Her clients are drawn to her deep understanding of Anne Fontaine’s designs and her genuine enthusiasm for empowering others. “It’s about being in tune with the client and their needs,” Billings said. “When you take the time to understand personal tastes, a genuine relationship forms — one of trust and respect.”
Yet, it’s Billings’ philanthropic endeavors that truly set her apart. For her, fashion is more than an industry; it’s a vehicle for change. “Why not help others through fashion?” she said. “It’s the perfect catalyst to empower, support, and lift everyone.” Each September, she organizes an exclusive lunch with Fontaine and a shopping experience in the boutique with up to 10 friends who give 10% back to the charity of their choice. “When we have lunch with Anne, all the women in the community who have purchased the package come together and get to share an amazing experience—talk, laugh, and make new connections.” Events like these exemplify Billings’ belief in leveraging fashion as a platform for giving back.

Billings has partnered with numerous organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Women United of United Way, the Children’s Heart Association, Goodie Two Shoes, and Culture Diversity. She has also contributed her efforts to the Collaboration Center and St. Jude’s Ranch. “It’s so important to provide support for kids,” Billings said. These collaborations empower underserved communities, foster cultural inclusion, and address critical children’s causes. Her annual fashion shows, which bring together art, design, and philanthropy, have raised both awareness and funds for these vital efforts.
Her passion for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital runs particularly deep. As fashion chair for St. Jude and Women United, she channels her energy into creating unforgettable events, inspiring others to rally behind the mission of supporting children in need. “This work is very close to my heart,” she said, her voice filled with emotion.
Billings’ philanthropic spirit is deeply rooted in her upbringing. She credits her mother, who emigrated from Mexico and Germany, with instilling in her a strong work ethic and a commitment to generosity. “My mother was a powerhouse,” Billings said. “She raised six kids on her own after my father passed away when I was 15. Despite working tirelessly, she always found ways to give back. That’s the legacy she left me.”
The loss of her son, Gabriel, two years ago was a devastating blow. Initially, her daily seven-mile walks helped her navigate through grief, but today, they provide her with strength and motivation, fueling her drive to support others through her work and philanthropy.
Her resilience and determination have earned her numerous accolades. She has been named among the Top 100 Women in Las Vegas from 2019 to 2022 and graced the covers of Vegas Magazine, Vegas Unlimited, and My Vegas Magazine—most recently in 2023—in recognition of her philanthropy. She received the Athena Leadership Award in 2022, was honored as the Best Buddies Champion of the Year in 2019, and was recognized with the Women of Distinction Award by the National Association for Professional Women. Additionally, she serves on the board of juvenile justice and is an active member of the Fashion Council of Las Vegas, furthering her commitment to supporting vulnerable youth and promoting fashion as a platform for good.
Despite her busy schedule, Billings approaches each day with joy and gratitude. Her mantra, “Life is good,” reflects her optimism and belief in kindness and community. Billings embodies grace, strength, and purpose.
Las Vegas is known for its vibrancy and larger-than-life personalities, and Billings is undoubtedly one of its brightest stars. She leaves an indelible mark not only on the fashion world but also on everyone she meets. Through her tireless efforts to uplift others, she exemplifies how style and compassion can intersect to create meaningful impact. As she puts it, “Success is not just what you achieve but how you use it to inspire and support those around you.”
