I have followed J.S. Peck’s novel writing since reading Death on the Strip, Book 1 of her Death Card Series … and now I’m hooked! The fascinating thing about this is that I usually read non-fiction books, and Joan’s mystery novels are a genre I have never read.
Fleetwood's on Front Street is a multi-level building with a ton of action always going on. It has the only rooftop dining in Lahaina that overlooks the beautiful Maui mountains and ocean. The bartenders are helpful and friendly, and the food is delicious, too. They have incredible seafood and steak on the menu to choose from and always a fresh catch of the day to offer.
Late one night several years ago, while traveling with my husband Curtis, I stumbled on a late-night TV interview with Santana where the show’s host did a great interview with him. I don’t remember what city we were in, the hotel, or even who did the interview, but I still remember some of Carlos’s comments and how they connected with me at a core level. In the interview, he was describing spirituality almost exactly like I speak of it.
The Beatles in Los Angeles is the brainchild of veteran television producer Jeremy Louwerse, with a little help from his friend and fellow award-winning producer, Tom Weitzel.
It was another delightful turnout for the new exhibit at Savidan Gallery in downtown Las Vegas currently featuring the art of Erik Beehn, an artist and educator working out of Las Vegas.
It was a beautiful spring afternoon in Symphony Park for an art show and live music performances. The City of Las Vegas hosted this event featuring various artists, craftspeople, and performers from across the valley. Even though we got there later in the afternoon, plenty was going on for the few hours before the show ended.
