The Basner Fine Art Gallery in Las Vegas hosted a delightful evening filled with top-shelf caviar and Cognac, and unveiled the extraordinary photography art of Mario Basner’s newest exhibition.
This new series offers an exploration of the historic cellars of LOUIS XIII Cognac in a way the naked eye cannot see. The images were taken in near-total darkness, reflecting solely on the faintest traces of existing light in the cellars.
The last time these cellars were photographed was in the 1960s by the famed French photographer Rober Doisneau. It was by personal invitation that Basner had the honor of creating these extremely rare images to illuminate the legacy of LOUIS XIII Cognac.
The VIP guests for the evening were treated to a LOUIS XIII Cognac tasting and a caviar pairing, guided by Brand Ambassador Guillaume Vallet and Shaun Hergatt Caviar Bar located in Resort World Las Vegas. It was a perfect celebration to introduce the exquisite photography of the LOUIS XIII Collection. The photography can currently be seen at the gallery or online.
