Yes, I cannot explain the level of energy and electricity that was in the room when Elvis performed. I have never felt anything like that ever again by any other performer. I didn’t realize you are a Midwest transplant and have been here since 1977. You are so lucky to have seen him live. He did bring his heart and soul to the table. I can’t imagine being in the same room as him, how electrifying it must have been. I watch videos of him and listen to his music and am mesmerized. He was so special, there will never be anyone like him again. Like a shooting comet that touched us all. I saw the movie and thought it was outstanding. For me it was like seeing him in concert. I didn’t want it to end.
