A Night to Remember

The Jubilee Celebration, which took place at Notoriety on May 15, was an evening full of entertainment, fundraising and fun. The sold-out event, which benefited the Forgotten Song Foundation and Jazz Outreach Initiative (JOI), celebrated the 10th anniversary of the film Midnight Muse and the launch of the new edition of Chic Compass magazine.

The evening began with a film discussion and viewing of Midnight Muse. Guests then swooped off to a lovely cocktail reception and dinner, which included a VIP meet and greet with Chic Compass magazine cover guy Allan Rich. We even surprised Clint Holmes with a belated birthday cake and song!

As if that wasn’t enough, guests were transported to the final part of the evening to hear the fabulous JOI Orchestra perform and feature talented vocalists, including Holmes, Marlene Ricci, Toscha Comeaux and Gary Fowler.

Forgotten Song Foundation and JOI raised funds for their respective organizations with the help of donations from our silent auction and raffle prizes.

Notoriety’s Ken Henderson and his outstanding team did a fantastic job helping coordinate the affair. The generous staff from the new restaurant Crash N Burn (nearby Notoriety) outdid themselves on the catered food for the evening.

We love Notoriety so much! We will return there for our final VIVA Awards celebration on Sept. 19, so save the date!
