Kevin Lepine: The Hypnotist Who Turns Audiences Into Stars

Kevin Lepine has built a career around a simple idea: entertainment should leave people feeling good. Best known as the star of “Hypnosis Unleashed” at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas, Lepine has become one of the city’s most recognizable comedy hypnotists by combining quick wit, audience participation and a style that makes volunteers feel comfortable instead of turning them into the joke.

For more than 20 years, Lepine has been part of the Las Vegas entertainment scene. “Hypnosis Unleashed” has earned “Best of Vegas” recognition, and Lepine was recently named 2026 Stage Hypnotist of the Year. But his path into hypnosis was far from traditional.

Lepine has spoken about his early interest in drama and live performance before moving into comedy clubs, touring and stage work. Eventually, hypnosis became his signature. Over time, he created a show built around spontaneity — real audience members, real hypnosis and comedy that changes every night depending on who takes the stage.

During my interview with him, Lepine also made it clear that the work is personal. One of the greatest rewards of his career, he said, is performing alongside his wife, who serves as his assistant. He spoke warmly about their longtime marriage and suggested that partnership has been just as meaningful to him as the success of the show itself.

In a city known for spectacle, Lepine has carved out his place by keeping things interactive, approachable and fun. His success in Las Vegas isn’t just about hypnosis — it’s about connection, timing and trust. That perspective came through clearly when he talked about wanting audiences to leave entertained, not embarrassed. Whether guests stay in their seats or end up onstage, they walk away feeling like they witnessed something genuinely unscripted — a rarity in live entertainment and one reason Lepine continues to stand out on the Vegas stage.
