The Underground Mansion is a 16,000-square-foot Cold War-era fallout shelter built by Jerry Henderson. The mansion, located 26 feet below an ordinary home, features unique amenities like an underground pool, a retro kitchen, and murals of Henderson’s properties. Currently used as an event venue and production location, the site hopes to obtain historical status. The Underground Mansion’s goal is to preserve Henderson’s legacy and offer community services.
