With the nickname “Rebel Lawyer,” one must be curious to learn more about the man behind the name. Meet Sam Ryan Heidari.

After obtaining his Engineering Degree in Material Science, Sam attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada—Las Vegas, graduating in 2013. Since then, he has remained active in the UNLV Alumni community. It is because of his involvement and sponsorship of the UNLV Rebels as an active supporter and donor that he gained the nickname “The Rebel Lawyer.”

And that is not the only reason the term “Rebel” suits Sam. He and his team at Heidari Law Group [“HLG”] have been separating themselves and rebelling against some of the ways other lawyers handle their clients. They expanded their reach within the community when Sam purchased a building in December 2022 for the HLG to provide more services to their clients. It also provided a home for Abogados Con Experiencia, the firm Sam helped to create to cater to the legal needs of the Spanish-speaking population.

Heidari Law Group is a one-stop shop legal service provider to all victims of personal injury cases and employment and labor law concerns. Several factors make HLG different from other law firms:

First, they are not a trial-only firm. They are involved in the process from A to Z.

Second, HLG is not a personal injury “mill” firm that gets a case and passes it off to another firm to handle the litigation if and when they drop the ball. HLG takes the case, and if it needs litigation, they handle it from the drafts of the lawsuit up to the final judgment after trial. It takes the phrase “protecting your client’s interest” to heart.

HLG prides itself on the three words – diligence, determination, and dedication. Sam says, “These three words encompass the core values of HLG.”

On August 2022, in Los Angeles, a man hit a bicyclist while crossing an intersection, and Sam added a $5,000 reward offered by the LAPD for information to help solve a non-fatal hit and run.

Not long after, a man in Las Vegas faced the same type of hit and run but unfortunately died. Sam jumped in this time with a $10,000 reward for a lead to the apprehension of the criminal.

Interestingly, Sam and the HLG didn’t leave their concern for justice at that. They started a Justice Division for funding to be available as reward money to people who provided tips and information leading to the arrest and conviction of criminals. Sam and his team work closely with Crimes Stoppers to prevent criminal activity and deaths in Clark County.

Going further to proactively participate in resolving local civil matters, Sam has a much broader eye on protecting the rights and civil liberties of the people. In October 2022, the HLG confronted insurance companies, fighting racially motivated insurance practices. A particular insurance company did not want to honor the policy terms following an accident by paying the involved party, which later proved the determination to withhold these funds was based on the claimant’s race.

For Sam and HLG’s efforts, they have been featured in the media on many occasions—from Sam’s expert opinions on shows such as ABC’s The Morning Blend to being acknowledged at Crime Stoppers Annual Community Appreciation Dinner. He’s gained national attention by being featured on CNN, Yahoo News, FOX, and NBC.

With road traffic growing here in Las Vegas and being problematic in California, HLG is often asked what one should do if in an accident.

HLG’s advice if you’re in an accident:

Get Medical Attention Right Away
Consult with an Experienced Personal Injury Attorney
Preserve Evidence
Try to Avoid Giving Insurance Companies Details

Sam advises those seeking an attorney: “One should do due diligence. If the attorney is practicing personal injury and charges a consultant fee, that’s a red flag. While that isn’t unethical, clients are often unable to work, dealing with expensive and accruing medical bills, and are under great psychological pressure. The last thing they need is to pay a fee upfront just to speak to an attorney.”

There is no fee unless they win. Because of this mindset and commitment to best practices, HLG is one of the fastest-growing law firms in Nevada and has an outstanding track record of recovering millions for its clients.

Although busy between his California and Las Vegas offices, Sam spends quality time with his family. He is married with two children and lives in Henderson.
