Keiko: The Power Wish

You have to love synchronicity!

While we were working on two stories having to do with Japan for our spring issue of Chic Compass magazine, we received an e-mail from Keiko’s representative regarding her upcoming book in the U.S., “The Power Wish.” She wanted to know if we would possibly be interested in featuring Keiko’s book in our magazine.

Of course, the book’s title was enough to draw us in to see what it was all about. We were also curious to learn more about the author, Keiko, an astrologer and best-selling author in Japan, with her fortune-boosting method called “Lunalogy.” Her book touts that with Keiko as your astrological coach, you don’t merely wait for the Universe to fulfill your dreams but become actively involved in charting a path for your life—in finding the love, happiness, and success you’ve always desired.

I couldn’t wait to learn more about her, and where it all began, so I asked: When you were growing up in Yamagata, Japan, was spirituality and astrology part of your family’s daily lives?

Keiko: “No one in my family understands astrology, nor is there anyone who is especially spiritual. My father and my older brother are extremely logical doctors, and they are quite skeptical of anything that lacks evidence. On the other hand, my mother is the exact opposite. She is very sensitive to vibrations and energy and is the type of person who catches information from invisible things. She is incredibly intuitive and naturally judges things with her instinct rather than with her head. So, in that respect, my mother is spiritual.”

How old were you when you first got involved in astrology?

Keiko: “Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had a natural connection with the Universe. When I was six years old, I could read astrology charts and horoscopes without anyone teaching me. It was just a gift that I was born with.”

How did you get to be the leading astrologer in Japan?

Keiko: “Eventually, after leaving my job at the largest advertising company in Japan, I started writing horoscopes and sharing them on my blog and newsletter. Before I knew it, I had tens of thousands of followers, and they began to ask me if I could teach them the logic behind my readings. However, traditional astrology can be very complicated so, I wanted to find a way to simplify it so that anyone could learn and use it.

“That’s when I thought of the Moon. It’s the closest celestial body to the earth, and it also helps explain 80% of all astrological events. That is why I decided to base my teaching on the Moon and call it “Lunalogy.” It is a group of simple yet powerful methods that teach you how to live with the Moon’s cycles and boost your fortune so that you can easily create your best life.

“Now, of all the methods I teach in Lunalogy, the most important one is ‘the Power Wish.’ It’s a technique that uses the New Moon and Full Moon to make your wishes come true. I explain the whole process in my new book “The Power Wish.”

What does spiritual living mean to you?

Keiko: “Life is all about ‘awareness.’ First and foremost, you need to have a cheerful and constructive mindset, and then if you treat everyone favorably and work sincerely on the tasks in front of you, your life can only get better.

“When the Universe has something to tell you, it sends you messages in all kinds of ways to get your attention. These are what I call signs from the Universe. Here are some examples of possible signs:

• Things you see (signages, license plates, etc.)
• Things you hear (conversations around you, TV/radio, etc.)
• Things happening around you (e.g., people you meet, places that bring you connections, etc.)

“When we think of it this way, we realize the signs could be hiding in all sorts of places in our everyday life.

“However, that said, not everything that happens during your day is necessarily a sign. Anything that you had to look hard for, or don’t know its meaning, is out of the question. On the contrary, if something just pops up by chance or speaks to your intuition immediately, it’s likely a sign from the Universe.

“When I say that, you might think, So that was just my imagination? or Did I see it because I was just thinking about it? And that’s totally understandable; I’ve experienced the same doubt myself. Is this a sign or not? If it’s a sign, then what does it mean? The more you think about it, the more you get confused. So, whether you’re at home or out and about, make a point to stay relaxed in your mind and body. That way, you can learn to trust your intuition more and more.”

What is the “Air Era” and the values that will change during this time?

Keiko: “Each era lasts over 200 years, and when it changes, there is a historical paradigm shift, which can also be called “the New Wave.” The Aquarius Great Conjunction occurred on December 21st and 22nd last year, which marked the Air Era’s beginning.

“Over the past 250 years, all Great Conjunctions took place in Earth signs, such as Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.

“However, as of December 2020, all Great Conjunctions will take place in Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) for the next 200 plus years, which is why this is called the Air Era.

“The arrival of the Air Era brings about many changes, the most significant being value change. Many people will move away from money and other materialistic values and begin to place more value on information and personal connections.

“Lastly, the Air Era is an ‘Era of vibration.’ Both tangible and intangible objects can emit vibrations, and each person’s unique personal vibration is what attracts information and personal connections.

“The key to being successful in the Air Era is to be mindful of your personal vibration and think positively!”

What do you want people to take away from reading your book?

Keiko: “By reading The Power Wish, you will attract the reality that you desire for yourself. By taking advantage of the New Moon and Full Moon, which are periods of peak cosmic energy, you can make your wishes come true without having to shake your hair and work so hard; in turn, you can create your own life with perfect freedom.”

• You gain the skills to create your life in the way you want.
• You can get the incredible power of the Universe on your side.
• You will be able to use New Moons and Full Moons effectively, and even Mercury retrograde, to make your wishes come true.

How do you see your book changing the world?

Keiko: “People all over the world are currently living in anxiety due to COVID-19. However, I feel that it’s actually during such times that we need to imagine a bright future and live our lives with hope. Above all, the most effective way to move the world is the action of ‘uniting the awareness of many people at the same time.’ In that respect, Power Wishes provide the opportunity for many people to come together to write their wishes at each New Moon and Full Moon, which takes place universally at the same time. I feel as if a brighter future is likely to come sooner if the people of America, with its large population, knew how to write Power Wishes and wished for an early end to the COVID-19 pandemic in addition to their wishes.

“For your reference, I will share an example of a New Moon and Full Moon ‘Power Wish for a quick end to COVID-19.’ Please use these examples to write a Power Wish on the next New Moon (March 13th) and Full Moon (March 28th).”

New Moon: No matter how much the world changes, I intend to gain strength, wisdom, and courage to deal with this change and for the latest science and technology to bring about a swift end to the COVID-19 pandemic and for a quick return to a peaceful and free existence full of vibrant days.

Full Moon: The latest science and technology have brought a swift end to the COVID-19 outbreak, bringing back the spark of life to people all over the world. I give thanks from the bottom of my heart that we can lead a peaceful and free life full of love, joy, and hope, with the great support from the Universe. Thank you so much.

For me, after having the opportunity to learn more about what Keiko’s message of hope brings to the world, it seems to be perfect timing for the Air Era to arrive after what we’ve endured this past year. The idea of valuing friendships above money is especially appealing as we in America begin to make right the imbalance of wealth that has been increasing. Add to that the understanding and importance of bringing about positive change into the world, and it has to make one grateful to be alive at this time in history. And I’m thankful.
