The Intermission is Over

When I walked into the Smith Center on July 14th for the media members event, I couldn’t believe it had been almost 16 months since being at my “home away from home.” I felt my heart skip a beat as I walked onto the stage where the “Heart of the Arts”® has stayed quiet with just the ghost light illuminating the stage all this time.

The Monsoons are Back!

Water is life. It is that time of year again, between July and September, when Las Vegas gets monsoonal rain. The Community Counseling Center

Mental health is a subject that society has stigmatized, and no one wants to talk about it. It includes depression, anxiety, and other pressures and affects everyone in varying degrees. The Community Counseling Center [“CCC”] normalizes these issues, along with the fear that people have in taking that first step in getting treatment.
