Inside the Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum on Oct. 11, the atmosphere was a harmony of light, form and sound, showcasing the work of one of Nevada's most notable multidisciplinary artists. Within this stillness, RDA Performs, the museum's first concert series, presented "Piano Portraits: A Piano Duet Dialogue," featuring pianists Dr. Alexandria Le and Philip Fortenberry.
This year, on Dec. 14, Roxy Jones will continue her Youth for Youth Holiday Concert tradition, which Skai Jones, Roxy's sister, will co-chair. Proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada and the Forgotten Song Foundation. Since 2020, Roxy and her talented friends have shared their talents and raised money for good causes.
Sometimes, when an event is a success, it is worth repeating. And, other times, when an event exceeds your wildest dreams, it must be repeated. This year, the Youth for Youth Holiday Concert will be held at the Clark High School theatre on December 3rd at 4 p.m.
