An exciting and eclectic mix of old and new, Cologne sustains its Roman heritage with its city’s layout and ancient ruins scattered throughout the town. Cologne’s modern plazas and Hohe Strasse, a pedestrian-only shopping area, offer shops, restaurants, and famous cologne boutiques.
