Save the date for one of Southern Nevada\u2019s most anticipated nights. Foundation Assisting Seniors is bringing back its annual gala, Illuminate the Night, on Sept. 24. The organization has chosen the Via Tivoli in Seven Hills as the backdrop, setting the stage for an evening that\u2019s both glamorous and heartfelt. More than a fundraiser, Illuminate the Night celebrates generosity and a shared belief that every older adult in the Las Vegas Valley deserves support and hope as they age.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Guests can look forward to fine food, lively entertainment and a rare chance to step inside one of the area\u2019s most gorgeous private estates, which will be open exclusively for the event. It\u2019s all for a good cause, and, honestly, it\u2019s one night you won\u2019t want to miss.<\/p>\n

The evening will also honor Lynette Chappell, whose decades of volunteering and compassion have made a lasting impact.<\/p>\n<\/div>

For more than 20 years, Foundation Assisting Seniors has helped thousands of people by providing free medical equipment to those in need. The organization makes the process simple \u2014 no confusing forms or proof of income, just quick access to resources including wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers and shower chairs.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\u201cOur organization was born from the experience of watching loved ones struggle to obtain basic medical equipment when they needed it most,\u201d says Vicki Bertin, president and CEO of Foundation Assisting Seniors. \u201cWe remove barriers and respond quickly, treating every senior with dignity and compassion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>

Foundation Assisting Seniors also addresses one of today\u2019s greatest challenges facing older adults: social isolation. Its daily wellness call program provides reassurance, companionship and peace of mind for seniors and their families, helping older adults remain connected while maintaining their independence.<\/p>\n<\/div>
