It was a joy to speak with my good friend Michael Cavanaugh! Michael is one of the most talented people I have ever met, and I have the honor of saying I play in his band!<\/p>\n

Michael Cavanaugh has been called \u201cthe new voice of the American Rock & Roll Songbook\u201d by Billboard magazine. He is a charismatic performer, musician and songwriter made famous for his piano and lead vocals in the Broadway musical\u00a0Movin\u2019 Out. Handpicked by Billy Joel to star in\u00a0Movin\u2019 Out, Michael appeared in the show for three years with over 1,200 performances and received multiple accolades. The show culminated in 2003 with both Grammy and Tony award nominations.<\/p>\n

Michael was also recognized by Reuters as\u00a0Entertainer of the Year\u00a0for the private events market.<\/p>\n<\/div>
