Jennifer Randall Young is Fixing a Future

By Brjden Crewe

“To know and not yet to do is not yet to know.”

— Johnnie McCray, my 11th grade high school teacher

As I was preparing to write a piece on Jennifer Randall Young, I began researching her social media channels to get to know her a bit and gain a better sense of who she is and what her brand represents.

Her AI ad agency, JRY Solutions, is beginning to make noise not only because of her marketing background but also because it focuses on women entrepreneurs, ensuring their voices are amplified and not replaced. While combing through her videos on Instagram and YouTube, where she shares tons of helpful information about building and maintaining small businesses, I also noticed a vulnerability that comes through. She delivers tiny, yet effective, tidbits that viewers can relate to. I found that Young's story isn't as succinct as I'd imagined, even if the impact of her work is indeed powerful.

I lost the love of my life and my best friend on Sunday. Those who really knew me and Mark have known for a long time that he has struggled with alcoholism.

— Jennifer Randall Young

Though she's been very open about the tragic loss of her husband to alcoholism in 2024, what stood out most was how she used that experience to help others. Her “Life With: an Alcoholic” video series focuses on women dealing with a loved one's addiction. Functional alcoholism, emotional detachment, relationship trauma and nervous system healing are among the topics Young speaks about. She also encourages them not to lose themselves in the process.

Having that insight makes it easier to understand her as a businessperson. She's owned and run a dance studio for more than 15 years, is raising three children and the agency she's built speaks to the forward-thinking entrepreneur who would benefit from her expertise, coupled with her experience as a woman who's faced the ups and downs we all encounter in our respective journeys.

But that's what makes her venture into the AI ad space a perfect match. What AI doesn't have is what I believe Young and her brand provide: the ability to make AI feel more personal and tailored to each client while staying on the cutting edge of where marketing is going. AI is here to stay, and she knows that.

I won’t try to deceive you, the reader of this blog, into believing that I know her or could fully understand what she’s gone through. That wouldn’t be fair. What I can say is that I believe she wants to help her clients grow while also letting women with loved ones suffering from addiction know they aren’t alone.
