Liz Poltronieri's Journey With Razzmatazz Salon, Studio & Spa

Elizabeth “Liz” Poltronieri has created more than a salon — she has built a destination where beauty, creativity and community come together. As the founder and owner of Razzmatazz Salon, Studio & Spa, Poltronieri has transformed her lifelong passion into a thriving business centered around individuality, confidence and helping clients feel their best.

“My passion for fashion, beauty and fitness started early,” Poltronieri said. “I would style my dolls’ hair, and as I grew up, I gained experience through modeling and cosmetology school. Working behind the chair gave me valuable insight into the beauty industry. When I opened my salon, it was really rewarding. That’s what drives my business. I’m really blessed.”

Finding the perfect name for her salon was equally important. After brainstorming numerous ideas, inspiration finally struck.

“When I came up with ‘Razzmatazz,’ it was boom — I knew that was the right name,” she recalled.

Today, Razzmatazz Salon, Studio & Spa offers a wide range of beauty services, including hair treatments, color customization, cutting, braiding, extensions, silk pressing, keratin treatments, straightening and vegan airbrush tanning, along with skin care options such as jelly mask facials, manicures and pedicures.

One important element is its skilled team of beauty professionals. Poltronieri believes collaboration and communication are the keys to exceptional service.

“We all combine our talents and encourage each other to express our artistry while creating positive energy,” she said. “We communicate with one another and with our clients. We ask them what they want and what they don’t want, and we use photos as visual inspiration so everyone feels confident about the final result.”

As a Las Vegas resident since age 5, Poltronieri’s deep roots in the community foster a sense of belonging and trust.

Like many business owners, she has faced challenges along the way, including starting her own business during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her ability to overcome challenges and continue developing her business may inspire others and create admiration for her

Opportunity also played an important role in the success of Razzmatazz Salon, Studio & Spa. Poltronieri had the chance to open her salon in a space that previously operated as a salon, with the necessary plumbing already in place. She transformed the location into a relaxing destination for clients.

Clients are welcomed into a calming lobby featuring fish ponds, turtles, colorful fish and waterfalls. The courtyard also adds to the soothing atmosphere.

For Poltronieri, each session is not just a haircut or beauty treatment; rather, it helps clients feel confident and refreshed while meeting their individual needs.
